I'm NOT a Morning Person!!!

There is absolutely no point to this post other than getting out some frustration, so don't read it if you're looking for anything fun or exciting :( I'm so tired of getting up before the sun to study!! I have NEVER been a morning person, and law school has made me see that I NEVER will be a morning person. I absolutely loathe hearing that stupid alarm go off every morning at 5:45 to wake me up so that I can crack the books again before another day of class. It's so sad that I look forward to Sundays because I can sleep in until 8:30....what a loser I have become, lol. What's really depressing is that I have 2 1/2 years of this torture left! Oh well, facing reality hurts sometimes, so I guess I just need to put on my big girl panties and get over it.....ok, ranting over. Thanks :)

One Last Post

Thanks to the snow/ice storm that didn't really happen here...some areas around here got lots of ice and snow, but it was a pretty boring storm at our house...schoool starting back was delayed. So, law school semester 2 officially starts tomorrow, even though we've had assignments for 5 days now. I would be a big fat liar if I didn't say I am absolutely dreading another semester of constant studying, zero social life, and highlighters running out of my ears! I sure am hoping this semester will fly by like last semester did....I can't take a slow semester of this torture. At least I do have one thing to look forward to....my friends!! I miss them like crazy! I just wish we could all find somewhere else to hang out other than school, lol. Oh well, I'm sure it will be a few weeks/months before I get to post again, so Happy Martin Luther King day, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and maybe Easter too :)

Grades!!!

So, yesterday brought the inevitable result of this semester....final grades posted!!! I have been checking online every single day since exams were over in hopes of finding out my grades earlier than they were expected to be posted. That, of course, did not happen. Grades started showing up around 10:00 a.m., and to say that I was ecstatic with my first grade is an extreme understatement.....I've NEVER been so thrilled with a grade before....I mean, we're talking screaming, crying, running up and down the halls excited....I made an A!!!!! That amazingly sweet letter was posted under my name next to Legal Research and Writing, which was the last class I expected to get an A in. I seriously still can't believe it. At the beginning of the semester, I said that my goal was to make one A in my first semester, but I never actually thought it would happen...but it did!!! Other than my one A, I made 3 Bs and 1 C+....I'm not thrilled with the C, but hey, it's passing, and that's what most people aim for in law school, so I have zero complaints! My super great friend that I studied with passed all of our classes too, and I haven't heard any bad news from any of my other friends either. Needless to say, law school semester one can go down as a success in the books. School starts back next Monday, and I'm absolutely dreading getting back into the swing of things and not having a life...but I'm really excited about seeing all my friends again. Second semester....here we go!!!
